Galia Osmo was born in Jerusalem. She began her professional path in art at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. There she finished BMA in industrial design. In the course of her studies she went to Holland and stayed there in an exchange student program and studied in the University of Art in Utrecht. In the end of her studies in Holland, she worked there with the designer JACOB DE BAAN, and designed exhibition for his studio that were exhibited around the world. In her last year in Bezalel Galia designed the Bezalel exhibition that was shown in the Salon Satellite 2003 in Milan. With her graduation Galia designed toys in the company Golos Weismann, in the course of the work she created and edited animation films. Her toys are being sold in companies such as: Tiny Love and Tomy.
At the same time she began her MFA film and television studies in directing.
In the course of her studies Galia created the experimental film Body which participated in the woman festival in rechovot 2007. And her short documentary film For all to See about street art in Tel-Aviv and Bethlehem participated in the international student film in Tel-Aviv and was screened in channel 8 in Israel, and in festivals around the world.
Galia works in design since 2003 and since 2005 she is an independent designer, and works on web design, graphics, illustrations and animation.
